Escapism is a psychological mechanism for dealing with everyday difficulties. The nature of escapist experiences is the enabling of total assimilation in an alternative reality that transcends the various types of difficulty we face. During a course in the Department of Graphic Design at WIZO Haifa Academy, students cultivated an escapist, immersive and total experience driven by design, animation and sound, allowing the possibility to escape to an alternative reality while addressing the variety of issues from which we all tend to escape.
