Gaon’s Salon at the Runaway Circus

Gaon’s Salon returns to Design Week 2021 as an integral part of daily circus life, and invites visitors to take part in an intimate and enriching conversation with creators, curators and researchers in the fields of digital design and culture, who together expand on the contents explored throughout the week. The Salon is a mobile, dynamic and wandering curatorial action which ties together content and creation, the juggling of words and the performance of objects.

At the center of the scene in Runaway Circus, within the interior courtyard of Hansen House, design curator Galit Gaon will host the acrobats and the fortune tellers of our contemporary, local visual culture. Each evening, researchers from fields that are related to the world of design will come together to analyze the different aspects of Runaway Circus. Later on, the Salon will wander into one exhibition to take a sneak peek behind the scenes.
